Believe in Steven

Guess who just found out that THEIR COUSIN IS IN THE OLYMPICS?!?! Me! 

--Steven is qualified for the men's downhill ski racing!

--Mr. 1st place, 2012 World Cup Val Gardena Downhill; 1st place, 2006 World Cup Val Gardena Downhill; Two-time Olympian (2010, 2006); Two-time National Downhill Champion (2005, 2003) is going to Sochi!

--After he crashed and tore his achilles,  he has finally fully recovered and is as ready as ever to ski in Russia!

--Steven's aiming for gold! "It's my third olympics and i've learned a lot from the past two. I feel more fit than i have in years and feel balanced and fast."

--You better be cheering for Steven while he kills the competition in Russia!

Not to brag or anything but my cousin's going to the olympics and the Nyman clan couldn't be more proud!

The Nyman's have one impressive AND good-looking family! Grandma and Grandpa must be proud!

Missing Monday is Miserable

So, that puny sore throat I had on Saturday? Yeah.... I ignored it, hung out with Abby, and now I'm super sick and it's gross. I honestly hate being sick so much-- I feel so gross + dirty, and all I want is oranges. 

And since I'm sick I miss Utah studies, English {we're doing our ballets today}, and art {I was going to finish my apple drawing!} and then I'll miss play practice {the school musical} and my favorite part of the day • singing. 

It's not fun missing Mondays

i went over to abby's today. we took lots of pictures... i mean a lot. and dad let me take the fancy camera! it was pretty cool so might as well just post all of the pictures, right? right. here goes nothing
