ok so we all got together at grandma millers house 

and em {grandma's sister-in-law} came over with her daughter, kathy, and kathy's daughter, pearl. \\if that makes any sense whatsoever\\ BUT we're second cousins

ok so we hung out tonight and she's a pretty chill 10 y/o..

even though we probably will never see each other until our next hillbilly reunion, it's nice to know that there is actually hope for success on the Gilbert side of the family..

so yesterday we had our band competition for the Wind Symphony {the top band at centennial} 

so i brought my camera, but i wasn't too happy because i couldn't bring it with us anywhere besides on the bus. but i got some pretty hilarious pictures and videos from the bus. 

these kids are ALWAYS the highlight of my day. they're all just layed back carefree and fun. {my kind of people}

so heres some pictures.. i cant download the video which was the best part.. but oh well

new beginnings

okey dokey 

so today was the 

Edgemont 2nd Ward New Beginnings Oscar Awards Night

it was an absolute blast! we all dressed up, & it was just all around jolly night. 

we had a red carpet, and the beehives introduced the new girls, & we did skits {aka the movies elected} & the skits were the YW values.

just the whole theme, and event was just purely enjoyable. 

so it was libby's new beginnings & i hope it was a memorable night for her just as much as it was for me

when you have the cousins of the bennetts and the millers, you have a PARRRTAYYY! haha ok, but so we went to grandmas and as usual, the grand kids just had a blast on their own while the parents upstairs talked about politics |ewwwww| so yeah.
